Dotcomsport introduces scouting application for U.S. Soccer Talent Identification

Dotcomsport is excited to announce that they will be providing U.S. Soccer with the scouting application for Talent Identification (TID), the home of the youth scouting for U.S. Soccer. Tens of thousands of U.S. youth players will be monitored.

The scouting application is going to empower TID in achieving their mission to identify players with the potential to play for the U.S. Soccer Youth National Teams.

U.S. Soccer believes that talent identification is an examination and monitoring process with long term objectives where performance and potential are influenced by environment, age and maturation. They believe scouts must use a common structure for examining players and speak the same U.S. Soccer language.

By using Dotcomsport’s scouting application U.S. Soccer will be able to create multiple scouting reports, allowing scouts to examine players in a structured way. In addition, the club career of the players will be monitored, as well as their Youth National Team & Identification Center activities.

Before working with the Dotcomsport software, TID was working with lots of different Excel sheets and platforms. Now, all the data and player information will be centralized. A player’s club information, identification center information and youth national teams information, as well as scouting reports, will all be visible within a few clicks rather than having to switch between different platforms.

Dotcomsport, founded in 2008 and based in The Netherlands, is a digital innovation company in player development for soccer and other sports organizations.

Dotcomsports’ online ‘Player Development Platform’ is currently being used by over 400 soccer organizations, including amateur and professional clubs, national federations and leagues, in 23 different countries. Following their involvement with, for example, the Grow Football Aruba project, Dotcomsport is very excited to welcome yet another Federation from the CONCACAF region.
