Dotcomsport strengthens cooperation in the Caribbean during the summer break

Dotcomsport did not sit still during the summer break. Founder Johan Henkes and International Account Manager Mark Verbeek visited Bonaire and Aruba this summer. During their visit, several coaching sessions were organized for local Club Coaches and with Federal Administrators.

Since the collaboration between Dotcomsport and the Federashon Futbol Boneriano (FFB), it was the first time that Johan Henkes and Mark Verbeek visited Bonaire. FFB works with Dotcomsport software and to further improve its use, Johan and Mark organized training sessions. In addition, training courses were also provided for Coach Educators, who train various trainers on Bonaire on a daily basis. Mark Verbeek: “Because we train both the Club Coaches and the Coach Educators in the use of our software, improvements are made at all layers of the development of football on Bonaire. If everyone uses the system better, the results will improve immediately.”

In addition to training Coaches and Educators in the use of Dotcomsport, Mark and Johan also helped to set up the software for the Federal Administrator. “When the software is set up properly from the start of the season, it provides a clear overview during the course of the season.” In addition, there is weekly contact between the Federal Administrator and Dotcomsport.

From Bonaire the journey continued to Aruba, where the visit was mainly dominated by further training. Johan Henkes: “In the meantime, it was the third time that we visited our partners of the Aruban Football Association (AVB), and it is always good to present the latest developments of Dotcomsport to everyone. Moreover, this is the first season of the new Technical Director Stanley Menzo, and it was nice to meet the former Ajax player at his new employer.”

During the visit, various training sessions were held with the AVB Academy Coaches. Dotcomsport did these sessions together with Head of Academy David Abdul.

Just like on Bonaire, sessions were also held with Club Coaches and Mark and Johan ensured that the Dotcomsport software on Aruba was also optimally ready for a successful season.

The visit was a great success and for Dotcomsport as well as for the FFB and AVB it is of great added value to maintain close contact. In this way, the development of football in the Caribbean can be further strengthened with the smart Club Management System and contribute to great successes.
