In the second week of September, Dotcomsport visited the Mahd Academy in Saudi Arabia. Johan Henkes (CEO Dotcomsport) and Jesse Oving (Sales & Support Manager) were in Riyadh to provide the entire staff with various seminars.
The Mahd Academy, an initiative from the government that manages sports programs, entered into a cooperation agreement with Dotcomsport earlier this year. Saudi Arabia’s ambition is to measure the talent and skills of around a million children in the coming years with dotcomsport’s various tools. In addition, the goal is to ensure that the performance of current players improves and that more talent breaks through in the country. Dotcomsport will help the Mahd Academy with the administration, registration and processing of all these players’ data.
During the visit, all modules were extensively covered with the different user groups: administration, coordinators, trainers, team managers, scouting, medical and video analysis. Jesse Oving: “It was very nice to see that most users had already registered a lot of things in our software. This emphasizes once again that our tools are very user-friendly and also that the enthusiasm of the staff members is great. Also during my presentation of the seminars there was a lot of enthusiasm and very good questions were discussed. I am proud of the fact that we as Dotcomsport can contribute to this beautiful project!”.
Johan Henkes of Dotcomsport: “Saudi Arabia is doing everything it can to develop a top sports climate. We are proud that they choose our tools to support this. The Mahd Academy will not only use the Club Management Platform Dotcomclub; we also act as an advisory body for the management and coaches of players with our data. This makes it even easier for them to measure and improve the skills of players. This should ensure an optimal top-level sports climate in the country. This is a prestigious project, with considerable ambitions, of which we would like to be a part of.”
The visit to the Mahd Academy was a great success. All staff members can work with the tools of Dotcomsport with great enthusiasm and are also well-trained. On to a great collaboration!
